Umbria and Tuscany
Two different regions in the heart of Italy. Umbria is central to Italy and the only land-locked region. The marvel of Umbria is it’s succession of beautiful hilltowns like, Orvieto, Spello, Assisi, Spoleto, Montefalco, Gubbio and Perugia. It is relaxed and inviting.
Tuscany is the focal region for American travelers. It hosts the towns that defined the Renaissance like Florence and Siena and San Gimignano. It is hard to equal the beauty of art and architecture that exist in these towns and throughout Tuscany. It also hosts the great wine regions of Chianti, Montepulciano and Montalcino. Writers have been poetically writing about the beauty of Tuscany, it’s people and its food, for centuries. This is why people are still going to it in droves.
