Culinary Tour of the Amalfi Coast

We are inviting up to 15 travelers to join us for an exclusive 8-day culinary tour of the Amalfi Coast and beautiful Sorrento, Italy.

Day 1
Arrival at Hotel Michelangelo.
Half day city walking tour of Sorrento with limoncello tasting and lunch in the lemon grove at Giardini di Cataldo. Dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 2
Fishing tour with swimming and snorkeling in the crystal-clear waters of the Gulf of Sorrento. See places that can only be viewed by boat. Lunch is included and will be served on-board made with local products featuring the day’s catch.

Day 3
Full day guided tour of the Amalfi coast (Positano, Amalfi & Ravello) including a private boat ride from Positano to Amalfi, a bus excursion from Amalfi to Ravello and return to Sorrento. Lunch in Amalfi is included.

Day 4
Half day guided tour of the ruins of Herculaneum. Then visit the historical, artisanal Gentile Pasta factory with a tasting included. Tasting is a euphemism -usually, it’s plenty of food.  here will be free time in the evening if you wish to eat dinner later on your own.

Day 5
Cooking class and Sommelier course at Fattoria Terranova which includes a visit to the vineyard with a tasting of 4 regional wines. Followed by a cooking class with instruction on making ravioli filled with fresh ricotta and herbs and gnocchi dressed with traditional sauce. The meal you prepare (plus more that the hosts prepare) will be included. A keepsake cookbook and participation certificate will be provided.

Day 6
Walking tour of Spaccanapoli full day guide.
A tasting “meal” of street food during the walking tour is included.

Day 7
Full day guided tour service, first touring the ruins of Paestum then visiting at Caseificio Vannulo Buffalo Farm with a tasting of their buffalo ricotta. A send-off meal will be included.

Cost Per Person
Double Occupancy; $3,700
Single: $4,050

A deposit of $1,200 per person is required to hold reservations for our Culinary Tour of the Amalfi Coast.

** Costs do not include airfare. We do not arrange flights; however, we do work closely with someone who does. We do not receive any commission, but it ensures that the flights are made to accommodate the tour itinerary.
