When I was growing up every holiday included our traditional Italian family recipes. I thought I knew Italian food until I traveled with a group of 20 family members to a hill town in Umbria for my parents’ 50th wedding anniversary. The experience of staying at a villa surrounded by family was transformative. It awakened a passion for the Italian lifestyle and revealed a new way to travel.
I have spent years seeking out authentic experiences in the Italian countryside and villages, from carefully kept artisanal traditions in the basements of family farmhouses and wineries to warehouses of prosciutto and cheeses. After working as a lawyer for over thirty years, I can now devote myself to sharing my love for Italy with my guests and fellow travelers.
